Raymarine Ray55E VHF Radio is a waterproof (IPX7) fixed mount compact Radio with unmatched performance and style. This is a European Marine Radio Version.
The Raymarine Ray55E VHF radio packs a whole host of powerful features into a radio that is compact, rugged, IPX7 Panel submersible and reliable. With its 25 Watts transmitter power and the superior receiver with excellent noise rejection you will be heard and hear loud and clear.
Ray55E offers easy-to-use rotary controls for volume, squelch and menu operation combined with an extra large dot matrix LCD display with dual channel mode that displays both the active and standby channel simultaneously. The standard microphone includes integrated controls for channel selection as well as a built-in speaker. A standard external speaker connection is also available.
Raymarine Ray55E features Class D digital select calling with a built-in 1 touch DSC distress button for digital broadcast of your boat’s GPS position and digital mayday. The DSC (Digital Sellective Calling) Button is protected by a spring loaded cover to prevent it from being accidentally pressed.
The Ray55E VHF Radion is also expandable to 2 stations using the optional Raymic Full Function Handset (sold separately). The Raymic enables intercom capabilities between Ray55E and Raymic at a remote station. Watch modes as well as programmable scanning are all included.
The Raymarine Ray55E VHF Radio kit includes radio, microphone, sun cover, yoke mounting bracket, power/speaker/data cable, mounting hardware and instructions. An optional in-dash flush mounting kit is available separately.
